Viewpoint of “Encina Grande” (Big Holm Oak)
Once we reach the boundaries of the moorland, following the path around the Pinar de Novaliches, we get to a little elevation where stands a huge and lonely holm oak. Looking to the east from this point, we can enjoy a wonderful view over the header of the Vega stream. To the right, the watercourse can be seen wriggling in the distance, on its way to Olmeda de las Fuentes and Villar del Olmo. Just opposite to the viewpoint are the remains of the medieval shrine of Valmores. And lastly, to the left we find the header of the stream, coming from the near village of Pezuela.
